    Statistics for Paid Accounts
    Statistics are here!

You can now see the number of people who have visited your journal, your individual entries, a chart of comments, readers of the RSS feed of your journal, and the last 100 logged-in users who have visited your journal directly (if you've enabled My Guests).

    Things you should know:
-Stats are completely anonymous (only My Guests is tied to username); only numbers are recorded, not any other information
-The times and dates in the graph are based on server time, which is UTC/GMT
-The light grey number at the top left corner of the graph is the statistical outlier
-While the graph may go back in time to this summer, the stats-gathering server was not on constantly, so previous stats may be missing. Today, and going forward, full stats are collected and displayed.
-If you opt out of My Guests (meaning that your username will not show up on other people's reports and you will not be able to view your My Guests tab), it does not affect your use of the rest of the Stats - if you're a Paid or Permanent user, you'll still be able to see all the rest of the information on this feature

    Page-by-page walkthrough )

    $10 coupon for your friends!
If you have a Paid or Permanent account, you can now send 10 of your non-Paid friends a $10 coupon. Your friend will be able to purchase a Paid Account for $9.95 (instead of $19.95) for one year by enrolling in our automatic payment plan or make a manual payment of $15 (instead of $25).

    • All Paid and Permanent accounts can send out the coupons by clicking here (it's also under Friends -> Holiday promotion in the site header)
    • You can also send to people not on your Friends list by manually entering the username in the field provided
    • If your friend declines the invitation, it will be returned to your available invitation pool and you'll be able to send to someone else
    • You can send the invitations until January 15th

    Red Rover, Red Rover ....
please send some new friends right over.

I am looking for new LJ friends to read and to have comment on my blog.

I have quite a bit of information on my info page already, but here is some more.

    Basic Info:
    Pseudonym: Anubitz
    Age: 29 (30 in January)
    Location: Atlanta, GA, USA
Status: Straight, Single, Not Looking for a Relationship
    Occupation: Disability Retired

What I tend to journal about: My daily life and its little "issues," Cooking, What I find on the internet, writing, reading, and sometimes I just rant about whatever

Who I am looking for: People who mesh well with me and my style. I don't care about your background at all, and if you friend me please comment below so I can friend you back. I want to be attentive to my new friends and read about their lives too.

Things I like: Moscato, dark chocolate dipped strawberries, finally realizing an idea on the page, having a plan come together, parties, sangria, Star Wars, video games, superheros, reading a real paper book under a shady tree in the summertime, the smell of old books, candles, my beard, a perfectly cooked bone in rib-eye steak, the first decadent crunchy and silky smooth spoonful of crème brûlée, my dog,

Things I loathe: Reality TV, most sitcoms, almost all Rap and Hip-Hop, waiting in line, truffles (the mushrooms), Road construction, absurd ingrained anti-group hatred, abuse of people or animals, Depression, hypocrisy, that anorexic model look, commercials, DRM (AARRRGGH!), Fads of any description (Remember Tickle me Elmo? Furby? Ugh!)

    I'm a 27/F/Central Texas. You are...?
    Howdy.

    I offer:
Sporadic recipes and surges of creativity mixed with moments of supreme couch-potato-ness
Opportunities to laugh with me when I attempt to play video games (katamari, Tales of ..., assorted fun Wii games, some x-box but never Fallout or Borderlands because I just can't work the fracking controls)
Occasional PKU advocacy/discussion/commentary but I have another blog for the serious stuff
    Occasional WTF moments
    Occasional amusing links
Occasional photos of food, scenery, my cat, pretty/shiny macro stuff
Comments on your entries if I have something constructive to say
My political views are that the planet is small and we all have to share it.
My religious views are not subject to arbitrary change, and they are open to learning. I don't believe in hate or malicious exclusion.
I try to keep things lighthearted because its healthier for me and have filters for the odd nasty thing I might have to say

    I need from you:
Not every post is a meme but a few are fine and dandy and I might even participate if tagged
People who know how and when to LJ-cut long posts
People who keep NSFW stuff under a cut with a warning visible (I am permitted to blog at work during breaks, lucky me huh?)
I prefer actual journal entries over poetry shaped abominations of the English language
Variety (not every post is about the lover you wish you had, Twilight squee, the latest hawt reality show, or I dunno... how much your life sucks and everyone hates you)

    Here are my listed interests:
anime, anthropology, art, austin, avocado, baking, belgium, bibimbap, british comedies, camp for all, camp phever, coffee, compassion, cookbooks, cooking, crafts, ctrl+alt+delete, culture, dancing, discovery channel, england, espku, eureka, europe, food network, foreign films, fruit, germany, girls with slingshots, history, history channel, iceland, jazz, korea, kuvan, linguistics, my cat, mythbusters, nail polish, noodles, organization, pbs, phearless retreat, phenylade, phenylketonuria, phenylketonurics, pho, pku, questionable content, red dwarf, rpg video games, stem cell research, switzerland, thailand, tlc, tolerance, unnaturally colored hair, vegetable sushi, vegetables, video games, wii, world religions, x-box, xkcd

The Young Ones, Chef!, and Red Dwarf are my favorite TV shows ever. I watch My Neighbor Totoro when I need to calm down. I love singing and I have a (not so) secret desire to record a Christmas album. Stir fry and sushi are my favorite foods ever. My musical tastes are less consequential than my TV/Movie tastes, and most of my friends have never heard of the musicians I listen to most (although I have a soft spot for 90's Pop).

I curse a little but not a ton and I'm doing it less and less.
I rarely post NSFW stuff but if I do I will use an LJ-cut and a warning .
If I talk about personal things my entries are friends only, but I have a fair number of public entries as well.

If you add me a comment is nice but not necessary. I am pretty sure I've said far more than enough. :P

Are you looking for a fairy tale?
I love fairy tales, folk tales, folklore, mythology and other related subjects. I have two ljs exploring fairy tales, [info]rescuing_red which is just about red riding hood and also contains some of my creative work which is relevant to fairy tales, and this one which will be about all fairy tales. Both ljs contain writing on the history of fairy tales, fairy tale theory, retellings and other random relevant bits and pieces.

I'm really exited about these projects and I would really love to have people to discuss them with.

Add one or both journals if you are interested

    (I'm 31 btw)
